Step by step guide to slashQ

Here is the step-by-step procedure to kickstart your business journey with slashQ

Account Creation

With slashQ you can manage your customer appointments like never before. You can easily set up a slashQ account and start using it in a matter of minutes. The first thing you need to do, to create a business account in slashQ is to Sign up using your:

  1. Business name  
  2. Email Address
  3. Address 
  4. Phone number
  5. Password

These details will be visible on your profile page which can be updated anytime you want. Along with this,  you will also be provided with a link to a micro website on which the end customers can book your services.

Filling in the business details

You will then be asked to verify your email address and will be directed to the settings page, wherein you can add or update the business details such as:

  1. Name
  2. Address
  3. Location
  4. Description
  5. Image
  6. Operating hours
  7. Requests per slot

You can divide your operating hours into several intervals using the “Time interval” option.

The “Requests per slot” option is nothing but the number of customers you can provide services to in this time interval. Depending on your capacity, you can assign different numbers to different time intervals or go with the same number of requests on all the intervals.  

You will also be provided with a “Buffer time” option to mention the extra time of the service you will keep the booked slot valid and available. You can select the working days of a week as well as edit and mark any day as a holiday or as having different working hours than normal. All the dates you edited will be highlighted in the calendar according to the colour code assigned.

Customers can book an appointment for any of your services by using the URL link provided for your business on slashQ. Once a booking is completed, the customers will either receive a virtual ticket or an SMS. slashQ automatically sends a reminder to your customers by email or as an SMS.

Appointments can be easily managed using the list provided in the slashQ portal where you will be able to view previous and upcoming appointments with the customer’s names, time-slots, and dates. You can access the appointment list by clicking on “View Bookings” on top of the page.  

Addition of facilities

If your business has multiple branches spread across various locations, those can be added on slashQ as separate serving locations using the “Add Facility” button on the Settings page. You can then fill in the details and manage the appointments of all the branches from the same account. Customers can book for a service from any of your branches using the same URL link. All they have to do is, find the nearest branch and just click on it!

Appointment Booking Widget

Apart from the above features, slashQ provides another striking feature to its clients, called the booking widget. You can place this button on your website which lets clients book appointments directly from your website without getting redirected to any other page.
